A Little Bit of History of Bush Hill Park

Enfield Urban District Council minutes reveal that 14 acres were purchased for the Bush Hill Park Pleasure Grounds from a Mr Low (of Low’s Nursery) in 1908. A further 13 acres were purchased in 1909 and the final strip on the eastern side of the ground in 1911.

The drinking fountain was installed in 1911 and the bandstand in June 1913.
