About us

About us

The Friends of Bush Hill Park is a group of local people who love the park and volunteer our time to improve its facilities for the benefit of the whole community.

We are passionate about making the park a safe, pleasant and healthy place for people to enjoy and spend their leisure time in.

Since we were established in 1999 we’ve organised numerous community events, activities & competitions. We’ve created opportunities for local people to get involved, learn new skills and improve their health & well being. We continue to fund-raise and develop areas of the park to improve the local environment and wildlife habitats for all to enjoy.

The Friends is managed by a Committee and holds regular public meetings to discuss the park and progress against our action plan (which is agreed the Enfield Council).

The Friends of Bush Hill Park Officers are elected at an Annual General Meeting. We held our most recent AGM on the 1st July 2021. We are looking for a Vice Chair to work with us – this is not an onerous task and you would be asked to attend a few meetings each year. We can be contacted on the link below.

We have lots of opportunities for local people to get involved and become a member of the Friends group.  Our membership is completely free and open to anyone who has an interest in the park and wants to make a difference to their local community and environment.

We always need more help! No experience is necessary and there is no minimum time commitment as every little helps.
