Do You Use Bush Hill Park?
For the time being we are not asking anyone to join as a volunteer. We have suspended activities until the lockdown rules allow us to mix with others freely.
How can you help your park?
Whether you’re a dog walker, a parent/carer of children who use the playground, you enjoy playing sports or riding bikes around the park, you can help.
Everyone has a skill we can use, regardless of experience, availability or mobility. Many of the tasks can be done at home in your own time and you don’t need to attend our meetings unless you want to. Age isn’t a barrier either we have children, adults and older people who help, everyone is welcome.
So it doesn’t matter if you can only give the odd hour now and then; if you can offer some time regularly; or if you have such a passion you want to spend every spare minute helping!
Why should you get involved?
It’s a great way to meet new people, improve your health and wellbeing and of course the local environment. It will also give you the feel good factor of doing something to help your local community too. So what’s stopping you from getting involved?

- Raising our profile in the local community
- Follow & share our social media pages & posts
- Starting discussions on our Facebook group
- Take and share your park photographs
- Attend & help at our events
- Maintain the notice boards
- Pick up litter
- Light gardening
- Write short articles & blog posts
- Set up a newsletter
- Doing local mail drops
- Update and maintain our website
- Committee work/attend meetings
- Fundraise
